Hi, I printed off a sample version of my resume and the page break is at an inopportune place. Is there a way to ensure page breaks are at a good point between pages? thanks
Excelent idea, but I would like to see an option to export the resume, no only to pdf but to .rtf and .odt.
There are a lot of HHRR recruiting companies that demand a .doc formated resume, which I can create starting from the .rtf or .odt files.

Allow schools/universities/firms to create their own templates.
Apart from schools and universities, outsourced product development firms spend a lot of time in putting together employees' resume for prospective clients. A single repository with ability to send/share/export employees' resume from LinkedIn should be helpful.
The resume builder does not load the new LinkedIn "Honors and Awards" section. Help!
Please and the "Volunteer Experience & Causes" Section. In Liked In all my volunteer experience is on that section and I want to put it on my resume. It's as important as the "Experience" section for people, like me, who do activism.
Thanks
Hi, first of all great product. just wanted to let you know that I think there is a bug with the honors and awards section. it loooks as if it never fetches it.
Allow users to enter a custom data field. LinkedIn privacy settings don't allow you to hide a mobile number, so Resume Builder users have to enter it on LinkedIn, create the resume, then go back to LinkedIn and delete the mobile number, in order to protect their privacy. (Especially true for those with public URL listings.)
Great tool thanks!
How about letting users select their own resume URL? Like, say,
http://resume.linkedinlabs.com/salilp
instead of the generic
http://resume.linkedinlabs.com/9cndxc5h
that the app generates?
-Salil
The skills section and date information from job/education can be turned into an infographic style resume. See

for inspiration.
It'd be good if some of the templates showed the text from the "additional notes" field for each item in the Education section - that way, we could include things like GPA, graduating Summa Cum Laude, noteworthy classes or projects we worked on, and so on.
All the sections on LinkedIn should just be importable, and some of them (formatwise) are already very similar to the experience section that (I assume) it shouldn't be very a dificult feature to implement. This is important because all those sections have some kind of important information for different people and it's that specific lack of exportable information the original "export to pdf" linkedin function was missing in the first place.
I understand design is important but for my what does it matter if the content isn't there on the first place. I really thing this should be your focus.
Whether it's awards or volunteer experience or the names and description of your projects on your behance portfolio for instance, you should make this available as soon as possible.
Thanks

It would be great to export resume in Europass format.

pdf output is poor quality. A better quality pdf is extremely important to send to potential employers.
Honors and Awards not showing on resume. It appears in profile but not in resume. Used other formats for resume and the same is true regardless of template style.
Curriculum should show the "enters" as HTML tag br. I pressed some "enters" in the text and they are not showing up staying very hard to read the content. It would be good that the tool automatically converted "enter" to br tag (html) so we can see the content better formatted
A few of the templates do not display profile photos and/or the specialties section.
I want to recommend a bunch of consultants that I work with to use it but not if the intent is to start charging for it eventually.
Make it possible to embed my (publicly visible) resume in my own website. A small html snippet (an iframe or some JS code) should do the trick.
I want to be able to edit the resume content that has been imported from the LinkedIn profile. I don't necessarily want the same information on the resume as appears on the profile. I want to customize the resume. Is this possible or not? I don't see the function for it.
Merge into the education section the LinkedIn section for courses.
Create a section that allows individuals list clients and/or projects as well as track them by year.
Cannot login to the site since morning. Nothing happens when I click on the "Signin with LinkedIn" button.
I have tried different browsers, Firefox and Chrome included, on atleast 3 different machines but am running into the same issue everytime.
