page breaks

Hi, I printed off a sample version of my resume and the page break is at an inopportune place. Is there a way to ensure page breaks are at a good point between pages? thanks

Export Formats

Excelent idea, but I would like to see an option to export the resume, no only to pdf but to .rtf and .odt.

There are a lot of HHRR recruiting companies that demand a .doc formated resume, which I can create starting from the .rtf or .odt files.

Regards,

Add all the sections from Linked in

All the sections on LinkedIn should just be importable, and some of them (formatwise) are already very similar to the experience section that (I assume) it shouldn't be very a dificult feature to implement. This is important because all those sections have some kind of important information for different people and it's that specific lack of exportable information the original "export to pdf" linkedin function was missing ...more »

Support selecting profile language

We can have our Linkedin profile in several languages. Currently resume builder lets us choose only the default language profile (and it is not chooseable by just changing Linkedin account's language).

For example, my default profile language is portuguese. The only version I can get out of resume builder then is a portuguese detailed resume with english section captions and language skill descriptions.

Create custom templates

Allow schools/universities/firms to create their own templates.

Apart from schools and universities, outsourced product development firms spend a lot of time in putting together employees' resume for prospective clients. A single repository with ability to send/share/export employees' resume from LinkedIn should be helpful.

Need custom data field, not tied to LinkedIn

Allow users to enter a custom data field. LinkedIn privacy settings don't allow you to hide a mobile number, so Resume Builder users have to enter it on LinkedIn, create the resume, then go back to LinkedIn and delete the mobile number, in order to protect their privacy. (Especially true for those with public URL listings.)

Logos

Logos of Employers and Educational Entities. In my "non LinkedIn-CV", I added the logos of the former workplaces. That can make a possitive impression on a future employer. Including that option in your Resume Builder might be somehow of a challenge, but you seem to be quite a wizard in you field :-)
